So, when it comes to weddings. It’s rare to be moving between two cities. So, this is a day of firsts.
The couple married at Durham Aykley heads registry office. Jo and lee were joined by family and friends for the wedding. We then hoped up the road towards Newcastle.

As can be seen in the gallery photos. The wedding had a theme of ambulances. Also, for some reason Wellies and pelicans. Make of that what you will!

The Hotel

Fnaly, let’s talk about the hotel. Beamish Park Hotel is situated in the beautiful countryside. Located just one mile from Beamish, the open-air museum, and only 10-minute drive from Newcastle city center. It is an independently owned hotel with 42 rooms.
I somehow managed to break the hand sanitizer dispenser in the foyer. I know, only me, right? If nothing else, it gave the receptionist a good laugh.
