Aykley Heads Wedding Photography
Durham
What a great day this was, then again, how can you not have a great day in Durham? Jessica and Luke were married at the Aykley Heads registry Office in Durham city centre. Their summer wedding took place on August 14th, 2021. In the presence of immediate family and a gathering of close friends. Due to the small intimate nature of the wedding. They elected for our Silver wedding photography package.
To emphasize, this was a covid restricted wedding, the number of guests had to be kept to within local and national restrictions and PPE was worn by all involved.
Due to the ongoing covid restrictions, this was the first time we were able to meet with Jessica and Luke.
It hopefully won’t be the last time. Jessica and I are already talking about the maternity shoot when the time comes (I’m not sure Luke knows about this yet)
Wedding Photography
To begin with, we went for a style of classic poses and fun wedding photos for Jessica and Luke’s wedding. As can be seen they are a very fun-loving couple and up for messing around and we got some quirky shots for their memories. I love getting shots like those above. Check out the effort the lads at the back put into that jump shot! Amazing work guys!
Later, the couple and their guests then returned to Coundon to celebrate the night away with friends and family. I'd have loved to cover the reception too, but then again I had to head north to Newcastle to cover the Rezurection Music festival! it's a hard life, I know.
By and large it was an amazing wedding to shoot. We enjoyed meeting with Jessica and Luke and would like to wish them all the best in the future.
